A second FDR?
I think, no matter what his policies and plans, Obama definitely exudes an aura of confidence and aplomb that seems to calm and soothe his hearers. . . .
I'm reminded of what, I'm told, President Franklin D. Roosevelt was famous for--his "Fireside Chats" that spoke to the hearts of Americans during a time of unsettled fear.
The question I have: is he speaking to frogs that are being cooked to death as the heat in the kettle slowly, slowly rises?
